Advantix 400 dog (25 - 40 kg) - 4 pip
Available from us Advantix 400 dog (25 - 40 kg) - 4 pip . A spot-on solution for dogs from 25 kg to 40 kg. Eliminates fleas, ticks and outdoor lice. Repels ticks, mosquitoes, sand flies and stable flies. Reduces the risk of transmission of leishmaniosis and ehrlichiosis in dogs.
Indications
For the treatment and prevention of flea infestation ( C. anis , C. felis ) and for the treatment of biting lice ( Trichodectes canis ) in dogs. Fleas on the dog are killed within one day after treatment. A one-time treatment prevents further flea infestation for 4 weeks. The veterinary medicinal product can be used as part of a treatment strategy against flea allergy dermatitis (VAD).
The veterinary medicinal product has persistent acaricidal and repellent efficacy against tick infestations ( R. anguineus and I. ricinus for 4 weeks and D. reticulatus for 3 weeks). By repelling and killing the Vecor tick R. sanguineus , the veterinary medicinal product reduces the risk of infection with the pathogen Ehrlichia canis . This lowers the risk of ehrlichiosis in dogs. Studies have shown that the risk-reducing effect begins three days after administration of the veterinary medicinal product. The effect lasts for 4 weeks.
It may happen that ticks that were already on the dog are not killed within 2 days after treatment and remain attached and visible. It is therefore recommended to remove ticks already on the dog at the time of treatment to prevent them from attaching and taking a blood meal.
One treatment provides a repellent (anti-feeding) effect against sand flies ( Phlebotomus papatasi for 2 weeks and Phlebotomus perniciosus for 3 weeks), against mosquitoes ( A. aegypti ) for 2 weeks and C. pipiens for 4 weeks) and against stable flies ( S .calcitrans ) for 4 weeks. Reducing the risk of infection with Leishmania infantum via transmission by sand flies ( P. perniciosus ) for a period of up to 3 weeks. The effect is indirectly due to the activity of the veterinary medicinal product against the vector.

While the dog is standing still, apply the entire contents of the pipette evenly to four places on the back from shoulder to base of tail. Press the hairs apart in each spot until the skin becomes visible. Place the open side of the pipette on the skin and squeeze gently to drip some of the contents directly onto the skin.
